When the condensing boiler is operating in the maximum energy collection mode, part of the condensate is collected and goes into the chimney. The chimneys of condensing boilers are acid-resistant stainless steel or plastic. The inner pipe is usually made of plastic, as condensation is not a problem for a plastic chimney. Plastic chimneys are also acceptable for installation in traditional boilers. When installing horizontal chimneys for condensing boilers, there are some nuances - the slope of the chimney must be installed not from the boiler, but towards the boiler. Because, when condensate forms, it must be allowed to drain, a condensate collector is used in the condensing boiler, through which the condensate is discharged into the sewerage system.
